Project Description

Planning proposals have begun for Events to be staged at the Rotary International Conference in 2018 Toronto as well out of the province in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia in the near future. BRC AND KIDS AGAINST HUNGER CANADA staged the first event October 12th 2012 at Clarington Central SS. We’ve sent food to Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, Peru, Aboriginal Settlements in Northern Ontario and Quebec as well as local community food banks of the sponsoring Rotary Clubs – in total over 700,000 nourishing meals! At $.30 per meal that translates into $210,000 in donations collected. Thank you everyone for your help and generosity. This contributes to Rotary International’s “Gift to The World”. The photos tell the story….feeding the hungry around the world and the corner.
